Scrum Master
Work Location: Fortescue Centre & Bennett St. Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.
Roster: Monday-Friday
Role overview:
The Application Solutions team is looking for experienced Scrum Masters to join our platform delivery teams. The successful candidate will work with numerous stakeholders and manage sprint plans, retrospectives, daily stand-ups and business requirements gathering.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work directly and collaborate with business product owners, business stakeholders, and technical resources to manage the development and enhancements of Fortescue built applications.
- Advise product owners of options, risks, effort/cost and set sprint priorities
- Consult with the key stakeholder to understand business needs that meet business goals and strategic objectives
- Liaise with stakeholders to formalise requirements
- Document business requirements in the form of user stories that are broken down into deliverable, iteratively developed functionality; define scenarios and acceptance criteria to explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to development team
- Guide the delivery teams through their agile process
- Assist business teams in testing and training
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years’ previous experience in a Business Analyst Scrum Master role
- Strong leadership and personal skills
- Assisting the team with business process and requirements.
- Manage technical support documentation including formal specifications and sample code/applications
- Experience in an Agile Software Practices
- Understanding/Exposure to of DevOps processes and tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
