Senior Manager, Procurement - Digital Health Transformation Program (527524)

Job Description:

The Role:

• Provide high level strategic and operational advice to the Agency’s executive and business unit Directors on all aspects of ICT product and service procurement.
  
  
• Provide high level leadership, expertise, strategic advice and management of HICT’s Procurement team, including coordination of human, physical and financial resources, policy development and planning and quality improvement.
  
  
• Review and provide recommendations on strategies, policies, systems and processes for the management of financial resources of the Agency as they relate to procurement, contract and business improvement functions.
  
  
• Provide leadership to develop strategies and evaluate services for improvement in relation to all aspects of the procurement lifecycle.

Details of Appointment:

Fixed Term full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30/6/2024.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary:

$ 131,464 to $ 140,317 per annum + 10.5% superannuation

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.

Eligibility:

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

1. Relevant tertiary qualifications (or equivalent), or certification, or progression towards certification with, a recognised industry body e.g. World Commerce and Contracting.
   
   
2. Current Driver’s Licence

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

1. Conviction checks in the following areas:

1. Crimes of violence
2. sex related offences
3. serious drug offences
4. crimes involving dishonesty
