Technical
\u2022 Analysis of submitted customer samples on Flow Cytometers such as BD Fortessa, BD Symphony A3, BD Canto II, BD Accuri C6, Cytoflex, or other Flow Cytometer
\u2022 Cell Sorting of customer samples on a BD ARIA II\/II, Sony SH800 or Symphony S6 sorter
\u2022 Training of users on self-service flow Cytometers and optical microscopes
\u2022 Provides technical support including by troubleshooting, repairing, and testing of flow cytometers, sorters, and other equipment for cell analysis.
\u2022 Perform daily routine equipment calibration and maintenance according to established SOPs
\u2022 Perform data analysis for researchers using specialized data analysis software<\/p>\n

Customer Support
\u2022 Serve as primary point of contact to customers
\u2022 Provide education and training, to core facility users\/customers in cytometry and optical microscopy
\u2022 Coordinate sample receipt from customers and data delivery
\u2022 Coordinate delivery of samples to other ICBR Cores for further analysis
\u2022 Assist with preparing and updating SOPs<\/p>\n

Laboratory Management and Safety
\u2022 Ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety and other institutional and governmental regulations.
\u2022 Monitor and maintain laboratory supply inventory.
\u2022 Clean\/autoclave lab glassware, supplies and biohazardous trash<\/p>\n

$50,000 - $53,000, commensurate with education and experience<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

MS required or 5 years science related, core specific advanced training and work experience and\/or post-graduate coursework. Requires at least 3 years in core facility specific applications and at least 2 years of that in research-based technology. Work experience in multi-user core facility preferred. Core or technology specific licensure and\/or certifications where applicable. Additionally yearly certificate and compliance training if required.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

The preferred applicant will have an MS in Biomedical Sciences, Cell Biology or related field with 2 years experience in research laboratory utilizing flow and FACS technologies and confocal microscopy. Experience using Crosslab shared resource management software and FlowJo software preferred. Specific training or experience working with nanoparticles, exosomes and Nanosight.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
