Job Description:
The Role:
- Under the direction of IPWU clinical staff, monitor clients undergoing the detoxification process.
- Assist staff in the admission and discharge process by fulfilling delegated tasks.
- Ensure safety precautions are always followed for clients.
- Help the clients in completing relevant documentation; making relevant phone calls as required; and scheduling appointments with external service providers.

The Team:
The Inpatient Withdrawal Unit is located at St John’s Park, New Town. The role involves supporting the clinical team and assisting with direct patient care.

Details of Appointment:
Casual (with on call) position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for a period of 12 months.

Salary:
$58,899 to $61,381 pro-rata per annum + 10.5% superannuation
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
Eligibility:
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Certificate IV in Alcohol and Drug Work from a recognised training provider
- Current First Aid Certificate from a recognised training provider
- Current Driver’s Licence
