Job Description:
The role:
As a member of the Facilities and Engineering Team, the occupant is responsible for:
- Carrying out painting maintenance and repair work required on all hospital buildings to appropriate standards while ensuring the safety of public, staff and patients.
- Supervising and coordinating painting trades staff to ensure effective and efficient services are provided.
- Ensuring all plant and equipment under the control of this position is maintained in accordance with mandatory, statutory, and local requirements.

The Senior Tradesperson Painter and Decorator manages a small team based on the Launceston General Hospital and is responsible for buildings within the hospital precinct.
Details of Appointment
Permanent full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $73,602 to $84,846 per annum + 10.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2019

- Current Driver’s Licence
