Job Description:
The Team:
TasEquip provides a defined range of equipment state-wide to eligible Tasmanians to improve their capacity to safely engage in basic, everyday tasks and to transition home from acute care.
TasEquip South is located at the Repatriation Hospital in Hobart with an additional site at St Johns Park.
At TasEquip you will be working with a small group of friendly and supportive staff, and with a range of health professionals
Reporting directly to TasEquip Coordinator (South), the Customer Service Officer provides wide range of administrative support and assists on facilitating day to day operation of our southern warehouse.
The Role:
- Provide effective and efficient stock management including receipting, unpacking, labelling, storing, picking, returning, delivery, collection, undertaking minor repairs, scrapping and cleaning assets.
- Provide effective and efficient administrative duties including filing, copying, ordering, tracking assets on TasEquip 360, and accurate data input on Finance 1 and IPM or any other program required.
- Provide accurate information on a wide range of enquiries to the public, clients, clinical staff and suppliers regarding scope, application process, eligibility criteria and functioning of TasEquip to a high standard of customer service.
- Maintain the warehouse and the vehicle in a tidy and safe manner including applicable document use is accurate and up to date.
- Provide training and ongoing support to new staff and existing team members.

Details of Appointment:
We are looking to appoint to multiple permanent day worker positions.
Commencing as soon as possible, with the hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant(s)
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Salary:
$ 62,257 to 66,917 per annum on pro rata basis + 10.5% superannuation
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
