Job Description:

As part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services in accordance with the primary health care principles, Agency policy and direction, legal requirements, and relevant professional competencies. The Clinical Nurse Consultant will provide effective management of human and physical resources, and leadership and direction in the strategic development and management of a comprehensive multidisciplinary inpatient mental health team.

The team:

The Mental Health Inpatient Unit (MHIU) and broader Mental Health Department (MHD) is a dynamic, multidisciplinary, and patient focused team, looking to add to our leadership crew. The CNC is an integral and collaborative role, contributing to the clinical leadership and management of our multidisciplinary inpatient mental health team, and supporting the MHIU NUM.

Details of Appointment

Permanent, full time, day worker (with on-call) position working 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible.

$104,735 to $111,334 per annum + 10.5% superannuation

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

• Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type

• Professional Development Allowance of up to $750 per annum
