Cyber Security Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Work location:<\/strong> Fortescue\u2019s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.<\/p>\n

Roster:<\/strong> Monday \u2013 Friday<\/p>\n

Reporting to the Cyber Security Operations Superintendent.<\/p>\n

Key accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
• Monitor the cyber security support request queue and resolve tickets where possible<\/li>\n
• Assist with creating a sustainable culture of cyber resilience by driving strong education and training outcomes and assisting with the design and delivery of end user training and awareness<\/li>\n
• Contribute to cyber risk assurance by conducting regular simulation phishing and social engineering exercises, technical assurance testing, password assurance testing, and performing due diligence activities<\/li>\n
• Contribute to the day to day delivery of cyber security operations<\/li>\n
• Support monthly performance reporting including data collection, analysis and documentation<\/li>\n
• Contribute to the maintenance and continual improvement of the incident response framework, playbooks and processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Qualifications and skills required:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  \n
  • Work experience in information technology role, especially applying information security, risk management and privacy principles<\/li>\n
  • Expertise across a broad range of technologies, protocols, products and vendors.<\/li>\n
  • Generalist experience in cyber security education and awareness, organizational culture and communication and marketing<\/li>\n
  • Technical expertise in system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, network and web-related protocols (e.g., TCP\/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, etc.)<\/li>\n
  • Independent judgement and strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and business benefits of potential actions and prioritizing to deliver business outcomes (risk-based decision making)<\/li>\n
  • An ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences at all levels, orally and in writing, in an easily understood, authoritative, and actionable manner<\/li>\n
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to build credibility and collaboration<\/li>\n
  • An understanding of organizational mission, values, and goals and consistent application of this knowledge<\/li>\n
  • An understanding of business needs and commitment to delivering high-quality, prompt, and efficient service to the business<\/li>\n
  • Ability to react to high pressure dynamic changing environments<\/li>\n
  • Ability to effectively work independently or as part of a team <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
