Job Description:
The Role:
- Provide effective and efficient cleaning of assets in accordance with Agency policies and guidelines.
- Follow infection control procedures including but not limited to:
- Separating clean and soiled assets.
- Cleaning and tidying facilities before assets are removed from area.
- Following manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning in conjunction with Agency policies and guidelines.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is stored, used and maintained according to Agency policies and guidelines, including reporting faults to enable corrective action to be undertaken.
- Participate in moving equipment as required.
- The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.

This role is part of a small dynamic team, that works closely together to achieve great results.
Details of Appointment:
Permanent part time, day worker position working 26.6 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary:
$ 53,850 to 56,031 pro rata per annum + 10.5% superannuation
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Completion of Certificate III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) or similar and/or previous cleaning experience preferably within a healthcare environment
- Current Driver’s Licence
