Job Description:
The Roster Strategy Unit (RSU), Human Resources, Statewide :

The Roster Project Officer will:
- Work with the Nursing Director and Roster Strategy Unit (RSU) Manager as a member of the RSU to implement the various projects of the RSU.
- Ensure the RSU project objectives and initiatives are delivered. utilising contemporary project management approaches and are aligned with the strategic priorities and Department of Health (DoH) requirements.
- Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to support the implementation of project activities.
The Role:
- Assist the RSU Manager with the project management and implementation of RSU objectives and initiatives.
- Provide support and coordination to ensure that project activities are aligned to Agency policies, core business functions and relevant legislation, including identifying issues and supporting meetings and negotiations.
- Support rostering strategy project team members in the analysis of business workflows and development of system configuration relating to the roster requirements of the workplace.
- Research, develop, manage, and evaluate information to ensure consistent messaging regarding the RSU project and prepare high level, clear and consistent communication materials to ensure key messages and milestones are communicated to the appropriate stakeholders.

Position Features:
- Some duties may be undertaken outside of normal working hours
- Travel between sites to be undertaken
- Potential intrastate or interstate travel
Details of Appointment:
Permanent, full time, day work, position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Location:
Launceston, Tasmania location may be negotiated with the successful applicant
Base Salary: $101,705 to $115,272 per annum + 10.5% superannuation
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
Eligibility:
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Project management related work experience, including process mapping
- Relevant tertiary qualifications|
- Current Driver’s Licence
