Job Description:
The Team:
Community, Mental Health and Wellbeing has two Project Officer positions available offering the opportunity to work on Allied Health led projects in areas such as perinatal mental health and children’s therapy services.
These roles are part of a diverse, dynamic team reporting to the Executive Director Allied Health who oversees Statewide Allied Health Services.
Provide high level support and guidance to meet the objectives of the projects identified by Community Mental Health and Wellbeing.
Provide specialist advice and expertise in relation to project support required.
The Role:
- Actively participate as a member of the project team, including working closely with stakeholders and consumers.
- Provide specialist advice on complex activities in relation to the to the relevant project.
- Act as a high-level resource to schedule and provide education and training to existing and new stakeholders in relation to the relevant project.
- Develop, extract, and analyse data from consumer and stakeholder consultation including preparing high quality reports and ensuring data integrity and security of consumers and stakeholders information is maintained.

Details of Appointment:
Fixed term, full time, day work, position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible until 30 January 2025.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Location:
Launceston, Tasmania
Base Salary: $88,483 to $92,867 per annum + 10.5% superannuation
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2019
Eligibility:
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Postgraduate qualification/s in project management, health system management or equivalent experience.
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
- Conviction checks in the following areas:
- crimes of violence
- sex related offences
- serious drug offences
- crimes involving dishonesty
- Identification check
- Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
