Classification Title:

OPS Student Assistant
Job Description:
  • Assist the study team with literature reviews to answer specific research questions.
  • Conduct manual chart reviews of de-identified patient medical records (including EHR data and clinical notes) to determine if the patient meets a specific condition or not.
  • Help the study team to standardize chart review and the literature review process.
  • Attend regular meetings to receive training about the assigned task.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Expected Salary:

$20 an hour
Minimum Requirements:

Completed at least one semester in a PhD, MD, MS or MPH program.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluent in the English language OR proficient in English, but with the ability to identify and understand English medical terms such as symptoms and treatments.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently from written or verbal instructions.
  • Ability to implement constructive feedback.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
