About the School of Nursing, School of Health Sciences

In July 2009, Nursing became a Department of the School of Health Sciences, in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. Nursing was established within the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences in 1996. The philosophy of nursing at The University of Melbourne is that clinical practice and practice-based research are integral to the educational preparation of all nurses at all levels of professional practice.

About the Role

Located within the Department of Nursing at The University of Melbourne on the Parkville campus, this position involves coordination of learning and teaching in bioscience and clinical practice subjects across postgraduate nursing programs (entry to practice, specialty practice, and advanced practice).

The position will demonstrate excellence in teaching and make a major contribution to the quality of student experience underpinned by research and scholarship in learning and teaching and evidence-based practice in the discipline.

You possess a program of scholarship and publication in the scholarship of teaching and learning, nursing workforce or a practice specialty. You have a high level of interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationship with all levels of stakeholders.
