Overview
An exciting opportunity to join the Risk & Trading (R&T) Commercial team, playing a key role in the prioritisation, commercial management and analysis of Sportsbet trading products. About the role
Reporting into the Principal R&T Commercial Manager, this role will support the wider R&T + Betting, Product & Data division with their vision and strategic goals through both pre-delivery and in-market to exceed both customer needs and business goals. You will support the needs and development of the Sports & Racing trading teams through driving improvements in the data space, upskilling & providing commercial insights around business performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Represent R&T on key projects, providing domain expertise, particularly around pricing and trading as well as understanding customer impact
- Support & drive the ideation, prioritisation & delivery of Sports & Racing products, initiatives & models to ensure they are aligned to the company strategy & vision
- Working alongside various data related stakeholders (Data Platforms, Risk & Trade Platforms, Commercial Analytics & Data Science) to represent R&T in capturing & prioritising data needs
- Utilising strong organisational skills to maintain R&T data backlog items
- Extracting & interpreting data to inform key stakeholders on business performance & margin trends
- Support on working with key stakeholders including Customer Operations, Premium & Research to understand customer pain points & potential solutions to address these
- Liaise with stakeholders across Product, Quants, R&T and Technology teams to deliver on opportunities to enhance customer experience
- Co-ordinate competitor and market activity monitoring and continuously assess strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for our products
About You

- Proficient in Excel (PowerBI &/or SQL preferred but not essential)
- Familiarity with wagering products, systems and betting features (wagering industry experience preferable though not a requirement for an otherwise excellent candidate)
