Duties<\/span><\/h3>\n

Design, develop, test, and implement applications and integration services using contemporary technologies, frameworks, and methodologies, to deliver optimal outcomes clients and users, in an emergency services environment. Support the existing Department for Police, Fire and Emergency Management (DPFEM) portfolio of applications and interfaces.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Head of the State Service has determined that a person nominated for appointment to this position is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer. • Sexual offences;<\/span><\/li>\n

• Making false declarations;<\/span><\/li>\n
• Violent crimes and crimes against the person;<\/span><\/li>\n
• Malicious damage and destruction to property<\/span><\/li>\n
• Trafficking of narcotic substance;<\/span><\/li>\n
• False alarm raising.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Desirable Requirements<\/span><\/h3>\n

  • A minimum 3 years of recent industry experience.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Information Technology tertiary qualifications<\/span><\/li>\n
  • ICT Industry certifications.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Experience developing system integration solutions across cloud-based and on-premises environments.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Experience in Agile development practices.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Experience using the following:<\/span>\n
    \n
    • Microsoft .Net or .Net Core<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience working in Azure, especially:<\/span>\n
      \n
      • Data services<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Integration services<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Web platform services<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Azure DevOps or similar continuous integration\/continuous deployment tools.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Current ITIL\u00ae certification.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Project management experience or certification<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
