Job Description:

As part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, Mental Health Service principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies, the Administrative Assistant:

The site:

There are two positions available: one is at the Hobart and Southern Continuing Care Team, based at New Town, and the other is at the Glenorchy and Northern Continuing Care Team, based at Terry Street, Glenorchy.

Details of Appointment

Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible, noting this position is in Glenorchy.

Permanent, part time, day worker position working 38 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible, noting this position is in Hobart.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

$58,652 to $63,154 per annum + 10.5% superannuation


The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
