The Role:

The team:

This position will primarily undertake work in the LGH as part of the SPCS consult team. SPCS is a friendly and motivated multidisciplinary team based in the community in Launceston. This position provides the opportunity to study Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term, full time, day work, position working 80 hours per fortnight, commencing from 6 February 2023 until 6 August 2023

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary:

Medical Practitioner Level 5 - 11 $97,946 - $138,593 per annum

Eligibility

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  1. General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia

*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.

  1. Current Driver’s Licence

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

    3. serious drug offences
