Job Description:
  • Analysis – Accurately documents and validates a solution with the customer’s current business processes and/or system functionality for one or more departments across the enterprise. Understands how systems contribute to departments’ process workflow(s). Identifies and develops mitigations for potential system impacts across multiple systems. Identifies business process impacts across departments. Identifies and analyzes problems. Participates in the analysis of current IS processes and standards. Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify complex information systems. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation. Responsible for software integration, external interface development, and technical documentation. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs can be written. Provides an estimate of the analysis and development effort based on requirements.
  • Design – Independently designs and documents multiple innovative and practical solutions which are thoroughly researched, include well-defined costs and benefits, and summarize final recommendations. Effectively facilitates design sessions with customers, teammates, or other stakeholders. Solutions incorporate current industry best practices and standards. Develops mitigation for potential impacts across multiple systems. Assists with recommendations toward the development of new code/data/reports or suggests reuse/enhancement of existing designs or applications. Assesses design options and constructs design requirements for applications. May participate in component and data architecture design, as well as performance monitoring.
  • Technical Skills - Develops complex programs. Understands and interprets code from other systems. Proficient with tools and maintains knowledge of and utilizes the newest features efficiently. The breadth of technical experience results in solutions to complex problems. Peers seek out for technical review and direction. Selects the appropriate tools for each situation, including making recommendations on code or framework changes. Identifies potential design discrepancies and their impacts and recommends modifications. Tests and debugs code produces and maintain documentation and conducts application quality assurance. Responsible for software integration, external interface development, and technical documentation. Understands quality assurance/testing methodologies. Develops technical documentation (designs, specifications, processes) and communications. Completes design work in a timely fashion, authoring code, unit tests, and system interoperability in a quality manner, acceptable to the customer.
  • Project/Task Management - Applies advanced project management concepts and established procedures across multiple departments. Builds, monitors and adjusts the plan with minimal assistance. Anticipates, understands, and acts to mitigate potential impacts on the project. Prioritizes tasks according to departmental and strategic objectives. May participate in product evaluation and buy verse build recommendations. Development and execution of systems best practices across the organization.
  • Maintenance and Support – Provides necessary support with no assistance. Peers' review of this position’s support often exceeds expectations. Issue resolution, coordination with, and communication with primary stakeholders are timely and thorough. Determines root cause of issues and follows up on all matters. Seeks, recommends, and implements opportunities for support process improvements. Recommends opportunities for process improvement, software development language or framework changes, or software architecture design changes. Troubleshoots application and maintains installed systems.
Expected Salary: $75,000 annually
Minimum Requirements:

Associate’s degree and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Level II background check.

The successful candidate should have the desire and ability to learn additional technologies as projects demand. The candidate must be highly analytical, demonstrate problem-solving skills and be able to communicate clearly and effectively. The successful applicant will demonstrate an independent work initiative and team-based leadership; excellent communication skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, diplomacy, and a professional demeanor.

  • Experience with common JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, React, etc.
  • Experience with common PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Cake, etc.
  • Software development cycle management tools (GitHub, Atlassian Suite, etc..)
  • Strong organization, communication, and project management skills
  • Writing clear, comprehensive technical documentation
  • Additional preferred skills:
  • Experience with SCRUM methodology
  • Experience with Python/Django
