About the Role
The Research Assistant will provide support for research studies at the CSC. There are two flagship projects being undertaken by the CSC. The first project will be a randomised controlled trial of commercial app-based meditation for addressing mental health issues and promoting well-being. The second project is a prospective longitudinal study examining the experiences of individuals as they progress in an existing meditation practice and exploring whether such experiences match traditional meditation progress expectations. The second project includes extensive consultation with representatives from meditation traditions to achieve consensus around markers of meditative progress. Both projects involve preliminary pilot studies. This research assistant position will support these and other projects.

You possess strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external) and work with a collaborative approach. You will bring your excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate complex information clearly both orally and in writing. Your excellent organisation and time management skills will be a valuable asset in this role.
