The role:

The team:

We are a diverse physiotherapy team who value belonging, enjoyment, and excellence in our workplace. This role is based in the emergency department and supports a secondary contact physiotherapy model alongside our primary contact physiotherapists. The senior physiotherapist is also part of the broader multidisciplinary team – with strong allied health links. The team focuses on safe, client centred treatment and management while supporting patient flow in the emergency department setting.

Details of Appointment

Permanent part time shift-worker (fully rotational) position working 64 hours per fortnight, hours available for immediate start.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $96,689 - $107,629 pro rata per annum + 10.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging


Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  1. Registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

  1. An active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association
  2. Current Driver’s Licence

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

  1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
  1. Crimes of violence
  2. sex related offences
  3. serious drug offences
  4. crimes involving dishonesty
  1. Identification check
  2. Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
