Salary: Classification is either Level A or Level B depending on experience and qualifications.
Level A - $77,171 - $104,717 p.a. plus 17% super or Level B - $110,236- $130,900 p.a. plus 17% super

About - Centre for Health Policy

The Centre for Health Policy (CHP) strives to identify, critique, co-design, implement and evaluate policy options that protect the health of populations; to formulate, with partners, strategies that improve access, organisation, and delivery of health services or programs, particularly as they affect the most vulnerable; and to identify strategies for enhancing the safety, effectiveness and efficiency of health care systems in addressing the most pressing health and care challenges.

About the Role
We are seeking a research assistant / research fellow to join our group to work on variety of projects that include preparing health technology assessments. The work program will involve evaluation of new health technologies including research projects from Federal and/or State Governments and health technology assessment (HTA) panels. There will be some scope for undertaking additional complementary research. Examples of other projects could include economic evaluation alongside clinical studies and registries in areas such as paediatrics, global health, genomics, neonatal intensive care, orthopaedic surgery and cancer, systematic review, meta-analysis or model-based evaluations of interventions targeting infectious diseases.

You will possess strong quantitative skills and ability to critique statistical analyses with a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. You have the ability to work under pressure and ensure timely completion and have a attention to detail. Your demonstrated high level communication skills (written and verbal) will be valuable in this role.
