The Team: Our Psychology service for THS – North has a number of experienced psychologists and is expanding; with new job opportunities in a variety of areas. We work collaboratively to ensure effective peer and continual professional education. We prioritise evidence based support for our clients while also focusing on wellbeing by having a good work-life balance.”

Details of Appointment

Permanent part time day work , position working 53.2 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $96,689 - $107,629 per annum + 10.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging


Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  1. Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

  1. Endorsement by the Psychology Board of Australia as a Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Neuropsychologist
  2. Postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

  1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
    • crimes of violence
    • sex related offences
    • serious drug offences
    • crimes involving dishonesty
  2. Identification check
  3. Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
