About the Role
This Research Fellow will be expected to work closely with A/Prof Diarmuid Crowley and Dr Johannes Nordström (University of Bath), on the Australian Research Council (ARC) funded research program on Topology in Seven Dimensions through its Discovery Project scheme. While the research program is guided by a set of research questions, there will be considerable scope for this Research Fellow to develop their own ideas within a broader research agenda.

Responsibilities include:


About You
You will have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and possess organisational skills to meet deadlines and bring projects to a timely completion. You will have the ability to develop, administer and see through to completion appropriately designed research projects with limited supervision. You will preferably have experience relevant to differential topology and algebraic topology – skills in differential and/or algebraic geometry would also be helpful. You will work as part of the Melbourne Topology Group https://topology.science.unimelb.edu.au/#tabmain and it is expected that you will travel to Bath in the UK during the course of your postdoc.
