OPS HOURLY NON-SECRETARY\/CLERICAL<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Cabin Leader responsibilities include:<\/em><\/p>\n

\n
• Be the primary caregiver to campers\u2019 social, emotional, and physical needs<\/li>\n
• Supervise youth aged 6-16 day and\/or night and guide them around camp in accordance with their daily schedule<\/li>\n
• Support instructors during hands-on activities and assist in behavior management throughout the day and night<\/li>\n
• Oversee and manage cabin cleanliness, conduct a daily cabin inspection, and report any repairs that need to be made to the Assistant Camp Director<\/li>\n
• Contribute to and work during evening programs<\/li>\n
• Lead group recreational activities during cabin time and as needed<\/li>\n
• Help with housekeeping responsibilities in preparation for upcoming camp weeks<\/li>\n
• Attend and actively participate in all staff trainings and meetings<\/li>\n
• Work cohesively with fellow team members<\/li>\n
• Assist in other duties as assigned by the Camp Director and Assistant Director<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/em><\/p>\n

  • Set a positive example for all participants, including cleanliness, punctuality, language, sportsmanship, and table manners<\/li>\n
  • Follow all camp rules and regulations, including those of appropriate attire and no smoking, vaping, or use of alcohol or illegal drugs<\/li>\n
  • Encourage and show respect of personal property, camp equipment, and facilities<\/li>\n
  • Appropriately communicate issues as they arise during camp to the Assistant Director <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

$300\/week, plus room and board and workers\u2019 compensation coverage<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

• Desire and ability to work with youth and adults in a camp setting<\/li>\n
• Ability to accept and adapt to guidance and supervision<\/li>\n
• Must be willing to obtain American Red Cross certification in CPR\/FA\/AED<\/li>\n
• Background screenings are required<\/li>\n
• At least 18 years of age by May 15, 2023<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n
• Driver\u2019s License<\/li>\n
• American Red Cross certification in CPR\/FA\/AED<\/li>\n
• Experience working with youth in a supervisory capacity<\/li>\n
• Experience exhibiting responsibility and reliability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

• Meals are provided during camp events<\/li>\n
• Lodging provided from May 17, 2023, through August 5, 2023, on-site<\/li>\n
• Staff are not required to work most weekends, unless the camp has booked a weekend rental group. If interested in working these groups, you will receive additional pay. For weekends with no groups, all Cabin Leaders will have at least 24-48 hours off between Friday and Sunday.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
