OPS HOURLY NON-SECRETARY\/CLERICAL<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/em><\/p>\n

\n
• Supervise and ensure safety of youth throughout the day in programs and overnight in the cabins<\/li>\n
• Assist in other duties as assigned by the camp directors<\/li>\n
• Set a positive example for all participants, including cleanliness, punctuality, language, sportsmanship, and table manners<\/li>\n
• Follow all camp rules and regulations, including those of appropriate attire, no smoking, vaping, or use of alcohol or illegal drugs<\/li>\n
• Encourage and practice respect of personal property, camp equipment, and facilities<\/li>\n
• Assist with housekeeping responsibilities in preparation for upcoming camp weeks<\/li>\n
• Communicate any problems or issues as they arise during the camp week to your supervisor and\/or team members<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Cabin Leader additional responsibilities include:<\/em><\/p>\n

  \n
  • Be the primary caregiver to campers\u2019 social, emotional, and physical needs<\/li>\n
  • Support Summer Camp Specialists during hands-on activities and assist in behavior management throughout the day and night<\/li>\n
  • Oversee and manage cabin cleanliness, conduct a daily cabin inspection, and report any repairs that need to be made to the Assistant Camp Director<\/li>\n
  • Contribute to and work during evening programs<\/li>\n
  • Lead group recreational activities during cabin time and as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Specialist additional responsibilities include:<\/em><\/p>\n

    • Assist with the design and the creation of lesson plans of camp classes<\/li>\n
    • Lead classes utilizing the experimental learning process<\/li>\n
    • Assist with life skill development with campers<\/li>\n
    • Clean and organize class stations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

$300-400\/week (commensurate with experience), plus room and board and workers\u2019 compensation coverage<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\u2022 Desire and ability to work with youth and adults in a camp setting
\u2022 Ability to accept and adapt to guidance and supervision
\u2022 Must be willing to obtain American Red Cross certification in CPR\/FA\/AED
\u2022 Background screenings are required
\u2022 At least 18 years of age by May 15, 2023<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

• Driver\u2019s License<\/li>\n
• American Red Cross certification in CPR\/FA\/AED <\/li>\n
• Experience working with youth in a supervisory capacity<\/li>\n
• Experience exhibiting responsibility and reliability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

• Meals are provided during camp events<\/li>\n
• Lodging provided from May 15, 2023, through July 31, 2023, on-site<\/li>\n
• Staff are not required to work most weekends, unless the camp has booked a weekend rental group. If interested in working these groups, you will receive additional pay. For weekends with no groups, all Camp Staff will have at least 24-48 hours off between Friday and Sunday.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
