Job Description:

CRM Administrator and Architect

  • Produces technically sound solutions that align with the Teaching and Technology’s architecture and the University of Florida’s strategic direction.
  • Creates, maintains, and updates business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, and other systems.
  • Recommends best practices and implements processes to ensure data integrity and usability.
  • Improves user experience, solve technical issues, invents creative solutions, and ensures data integrity across the CRM platform.
  • Proactively identifies and implements operational improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements.
  • Oversees the daily operations and system performance of the CRM and related systems.
  • Performs routine maintenance to ensure the platform is up-to-date and prepared for new releases.
  • Provides consultative expertise for the overall design of the CRM implementation for Teaching and Technology and all of its subordinate units.
  • Ensures process efficiency through prioritization and adoption of the most relevant CRM features, based on the various departmental needs, to maximize benefits to the whole of Teaching and Technology.
  • Takes the lead in platform feasibility assessments, design comparisons, development, testing, performance monitoring, quality assurance, documentation, and training of other CRM administrators and end users.
  • Makes recommendations regarding component and architecture design as well as new product evaluation.
  • Keeps current with the latest industry trends in CRM standards or best practices, other University of Florida CRM development, as well as other relevant technical platforms.
  • Serves as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions, resulting in workable solutions that meet identified business requirements.

Training & Report Development:

  • Develops and disseminates training resources for both CRM administrators and end users.
  • Mentors other team members in relation to the CRM technical details.
  • Assists in fielding reporting requests by providing data and report authoring for various TNT units.

Project Management & Communication:

  • Provides leadership with regular effort reports on analysis, development, maintenance, training, and other specified client requirements.
  • Manages relationships between CRM representatives and University of Florida departments.
  • Disseminates information to university departments, students, staff, and other stakeholders regarding updates, policies, and procedures related to working projects.
  • Handles internal communication in regard to the CRM systems including but not limited to new features, bug fixes, and planned maintenance windows.

Expected Salary:

$75,000 - $85,000

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Intimate knowledge of the Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce CRM.
  • Experience working within the Salesforce EDA architecture.
  • Experience in providing end users with CRM tools for marketing activities such as Pardot or Marketing Cloud.
  • Knowledge of fundamental data structures and concepts.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office along with some experience with other Microsoft tools, i.e. SharePoint, Outlook, and Visio.
