Job Description:

The Role:

Maintain the efficient operation of the office of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), including the provision of administrative, clerical, reception, and secretarial support.

As a team member actively support the delivery of a comprehensive range of administrative and service operations functions which facilitate the efficient operation of the office.

Assist and support the NUM in the management of human, material, and financial resources for the Ward, including rostering, coordination of specific HR processes, and a diverse range of complex tasks to achieve specified Section outcomes.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term, full time, day work, position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 5 December 2022 until 19 January 2024

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $65,721 - $71,156 per annum + 10.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  1. Current Working with Children Registration

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

  1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
    1. crimes of violence
    2. sex related offences
    3. serious drug offences
    4. crimes involving dishonesty

  2. Identification check
  3. Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
