Job Description:

The Department of Health is seeking interest from suitably qualified applicants for a Team Leader – Adult and Older persons Community Mental Health Services vacancy.

Please note this position is also being advertised as a Team Leader – Adult and Older persons Community Mental Health Services (516665m) and only one position will be filled on merit.

The Team:

Provide leadership to Adult and Older Persons Community Mental Health Services (AOPCMHS).

Provide effective management of human, physical and financial resources of AOPCMHS Teams.

Develop and maintain appropriate and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, consumer and carer groups and non-government agencies to promote fully integrated, recovery focused mental health services.

As an integral part of the Regional Executive and the Statewide Clinical Reference Groups, work effectively in the implementation of strategic direction, review and evaluation of services, development of policies and improvement of business practices.

Permanent, full time, day work (with on call), position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant


Mental Health Services - North

Base Salary: $129,849 to $131,355 pro-rata, per annum + 10.5% superannuation

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
