Job Description:

The Director, Engagement and Change – IT Operations’ key purpose is to lead purposeful engagement initiatives that support a whole of university collaboration in the delivery of the UNSW Technology Strategy and effective two-way communication between IT and the rest of the University.

The Director, Engagement and Change - IT Operations is responsible for leading and managing the IT Business Partners and establishing and leading an effective Engagement and Change team. This will include working with business partners to understand the IT needs of faculties and divisions, leading the preparation of plans and reports to provide clarity and transparency to Faculties & Divisions on IT services provided; ensuring high quality change management is in place for IT projects (including change impact assessments, change management plans, and benefits realisation tracking) and developing and maintaining effective communications to the rest of the organisation and effective feedback approaches for IT to hear from the rest of the University.

The Director, Engagement and Change - IT Operations reports to the Chief Information Officer and manages a team of Business Partners and has responsibility for the Centre of Excellence for Change Management within IT.
