Job Description:

- Assists with experimental immunoassays on collected samples such as ELISA, RIA, Multiplex ELISA, and Immunohistochemistry

- Assist with experimental procedures on human pancreas tissue slices, such as tissue processing, tissue culture, perifusion, flow cytometry, and imaging.

- Successfully stain sectioned tissues for specific microscopic examination using antibodies for specific proteins in order to visualize the location within the tissue. Perform antibody validation and optimization for these tissue imaging experiments.

- Maintain inventory of all required experimental supplies, perform data entry into lab databases, maintain laboratory equipment according to SOP, prepare reagents, ensure proper disposal of chemical and biological materials, and perform lab maintenance according to GLP.

- Assist PI, supervisor, post-docs, graduate students, and undergraduate students with other tasks as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Expected Salary:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
