Job Description:

The Department of Education aims to transform the way Tasmanians access education, training and information services, provide a fresh and exciting approach to lifelong learning and build an education system that inspires and supports all learners to succeed as connected, resilient, creative and curious thinkers.

Duties

Work in Tasmanian Government schools, Child and Family Centres (CFCs) and community locations to provide support to children and families affected by family violence. Contribute to capacity building in CFCs, schools and communities to improve understanding of the impact of family violence and trauma on learning and well-being.

Period of Appointment

10 October 2022 to 10 October 2023

Hours per fortnight

76 hours per fortnight

Essential Requirements

• Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status - Employment).
