The Edelmann laboratory of the Microbiology and Cell Science Department at the University of Florida is seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher. The position requires knowledge pertaining to research and function of extracellular vesicles in host-pathogen interactions. The position is to work on the project entitled “The Function of Host-derived Extracellular Vesicles in Trafficking of Bacterial Antigens to Stimulate the Antibacterial Immune Response” funded by NIH.

Expected Salary:

Commensurate with Education and Experience

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants should have a PhD or MD-PhD degree in immunology, infectious diseases, or eukaryotic cell biology. Candidates must be supportive of the mission of the Land-Grant/Sea-Grant systems. Candidates must also have a commitment to UF/IFAS core values of excellence, diversity, global involvement, and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with flow cytometry and pre-clinical murine models is required. In addition, experience in extracellular vesicles is preferred.
