Job Description:

The Division of Enrollment Management is currently seeking an FWS student graphic designer/photographer in the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships. Assists with designing publications, social media, and web graphics and will capture photographic images representing the full range of activities occurring on the University of Florida campus, utilizing creative and artistic skill. Assists Student Financial Aid and Scholarships with design, photography, and video needs for use on websites, publications and social media posts. Maintains a library of current project files, photos, and video images representing all aspects of student life on the UF campus. Will work in Adobe Creative Suite programs. Other office duties as assigned.

Incumbent will work during SFA office hours. SFA is open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., excluding UF holidays. The incumbent will be expected to work 10 to 20 hours per week.

THIS IS A FEDERAL WORK STUDY POSITION. ONLY STUDENTS WITH FWS AWARDED SHOULD APPLY.

Expected Salary:

$12/hour

Minimum Requirements:

Graphic design skills (publications, social media graphics, info graphics, reports). Photography skills (composition, technical understanding and image manipulation). Proficiency using InDesign, Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Suite design software in a Mac OS environment. Students must have an FWS award and be able to work 10-20 hours a week, Mon-Fri, between 8am and 5pm.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate previous experience in graphic design, photography, videography, copy editing, or web design.
