Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support in the classroom
  • Assuring classroom equipment and educational technologies that support instruction are operational
  • Training faculty in the use of instructional technologies
  • Understanding course components (ECO, Canvas)
  • Successfully working with other team members in a higher education environment

Additionally, the incumbent will work independently to meet deadlines and participate in the development and delivery of documented tutorials and faculty workshops related to emerging technologies for faculty and staff of the College.

This is a part-time position, approximately 12-20 hours per week. The ideal candidate will work from 1 pm-5:30 pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday or 2:30 pm-5:30 pm Monday thru Friday.

Minimum Requirements:

A high school diploma and three years of any combination of relevant experience, education and/or certification. Applicants must have a strong understanding of instructional technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

Audio-visual (AV) background/experience, and experience with lecture caption and editing is desirable. Knowledge of basic equipment installation is also highly desirable.
