The Centre for Health Equity consolidates the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health's social, behavioural and public health expertise into a single, world-class Centre. About the Role
This position is part of a research team working on an Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Project, titled “Settling well: a longitudinal study of refugees in regional Australia”. Regional humanitarian settlement is a key priority across all levels of government in Australia. This study aims to provide a longitudinal assessment of the impacts of regional settlement for humanitarian migrants and destination communities.

This Research Fellow position involves the design of quantitative data collection tools to be distributed to humanitarian entrants living in regional Australia and host community members.

You are an experienced researcher, looking to develop your career in academic research. a sound publication record in relevant areas, commensurate with experience and opportunities. You will have the ability to work co-operatively and positively in a multi-disciplinary research-based team environment and liaise with people from diverse backgrounds. You will be able to draw on your excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, to meet deadlines and bring projects to a timely completion.
