Job Description:
Mental Health Services is seeking applications from relevant individuals to be part of a new team being established as part of the ongoing Tasmanian Mental Health Reform Program
As one of the cleaners within this team you will have responsibility across a number of services, all of which are a first for public mental health services in Tasmania

The Role:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including floor and wall maintenance in offices, bedrooms, living areas and other designated areas as directed.
- Undertake special cleaning tasks and other related duties, including removal of garbage and collection/distribution of linen.
- Ensure equipment is used and maintained in the correct manner and report faults to enable corrective action to be taken.
- The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.

Details of Appointment:
Permanent, full time, shift work (set rotational) position working 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of six months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Base Salary: $50,529 to $52,636 per annum + 10.5% superannuation
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2019

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
