Job Description:

The Team:

The Clinical Nurse Specialist – Retrieval Coordination - is responsible for the coordination of all medium to time critical interfacility transfers around Tasmania.

If you have expertise in emergency or critical care nursing (focus on adults) then this may be an opportunity to use your skills and experience in a new way.

We are a small team working within the Ambulance Tasmania Communications Centre. We work closely with doctors and nurses in the THS, as well as Ambulance Tasmanian paramedics, flight paramedics, pilots, non-emergency patient transport officers and doctors working to move patients between hospitals – The Right Patient to the Right Place at the Right Time by the Right Means with the Right Level of Escort and Equipment.

The Role:

Details of Appointment:

Fixed term, part-time shift work (fully rotational), working a minimum of 16 hours per fortnight and up to 72 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 31 July 2023.

Please note in order to meet roster needs, this vacancy will to be filled by more than one person. Hours will be negotiated with the successful applicants.

Base Salary:

$94,491 - $99,870 per annum + 10.5% superannuation

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
