Superintendent Mine Services
Work Location: Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.
Roster: 4D/3R – FIFO ex Perth
Role overview:
As an integral Cloudbreak mine leadership role you will provide leadership, support and mentoring of the mine services team including mining supervisors and mine services contractors in the maintenance of ancillary equipment and delivery of project work to ensure long-term productivity of the mine.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary teams to deliver results safely
- Contractor management on compliance standards
- Build and manage collaborative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders to deliver on short, medium, and long term plans
- Manage the delivery of projects to ensure mine development is completed on time and on budget
Education and Experience:
- Demonstrated leadership experience across mine planning or mine services
- Strong stakeholder management including communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Quarry Manager Competency Certificate is advantageous
- Tertiary qualification in mine or civil engineering is advantageous
- Unrestricted WA Class C drivers license
- Proven success in developing cohesive and inclusive teams that achieve results
