About the Role

Working with senior colleagues, you will contribute to quality research and/or evaluation endeavours, including contributing to the planning and delivery of topics within the suite of Midwifery courses at undergraduate and post graduate levels. This includes development of

Your research contribution will align to the agenda of the Caring Futures Institute, Australia's first fully dedicated research centre for the study of self-care and caring solutions - a future with answers to some of the world's greatest upcoming care challenges; and a future where technology and the real world collide for health innovations and reduced social isolation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be an exceptional communicator and have highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, students and industry. You will have significant and sustained evidence of successful relevant teaching experience at tertiary level, including responsibility for topic coordination and/or curriculum design.

You will demonstrate a strong research background (for career stage) in an area of strategic research focus for the Caring Futures Institute, including evidence of sustained high‐quality publications with evident senior authorship contribution and attraction of external competitive grants.

Prescribed Conditions for Employment

Pursuant to Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 (SA) this position has been deemed prescribed. It is an inherent requirement of the position that the successful candidate maintains a current Working With Children Check which is satisfactory to the University.

A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the University will also be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
