The role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assurance Specialist to join our Legal, Risk and Compliance team. Located at our Melbourne office you will have the ability to work a hybrid model.

Your new role makes a significant contribution towards executing Sportsbet’s risk management and compliance strategy and operating model by performing an assurance advisor and partnering role to a portfolio of departments within the business.

You:

Your commercial acumen and growth mindset places you well to provide independent opinions and recommendations in an energetic and engaging manner that will result in influencing Sportsbet’s operational performance. You will have a demonstrated experience in understanding and practical application of end-to-end assurance including: Control identification, articulation, documentation and test plan execution

    • Perform assurance on key controls in line with Sportsbet\u2019s Risk Management Framework and Assurance Framework<\/li>
    • Provide regular opinion \/ recommendation connecting assurance outcomes with risk, strategy and performance verbally and via written reports<\/li>
    • Prepare dashboards for stakeholders as to the status of controls across Sportsbet<\/li>
    • Support the identification of controls and assurance across Compliance obligations<\/li>
    • Provide regular opinion \/ recommendation on state of compliance across processes, systems and initiatives verbally and via written reports<\/li><\/ul>
