Base Location: Dublin 18

Salary: circa €55,000 - €82,400 depending on skills and experience + annual bonus

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available

What is the Role

SSE Energy Customer Solutions (ECS) strategy has identified Digital as a key capability to meet its objectives. The Digital Team in Airtricity has been working to an Agile method, but is in need of a full-time Scrum Master, who will be key to embedding Agile delivery in ECS allowing us to deliver more through agile.

You'll be responsible for ensuring the team lives agile values and principles and follows their agreed processes to deliver new functionality and capability. You'll need to establish an effective working cadence for the team, finding a way around any current and future obstacles. Coaching and supporting of the Agile team, delivering BAU improvements, key Digital initiatives and applicable portions of corporate digital strategy, will be a major part of your role.

What do I need?

You'll have considerable experience as a Scrum Master delivering customer-facing or platform capabilities, where you've exemplified and promoted Agile values and principles. The following skills and experience are essential:

- Good knowledge and demonstrated experience of working in an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban).

- Refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques

- Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams

- Education to degree level and 4 years of product or project development experience, or 3 years of project development experience on an Agile Team

- Facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques

- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel

- Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
