Job Description:

Base Location: Flexible UK & Ireland | We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however need your base 'home' location to be one of our SSE offices or depots around the UK and Ireland.

Salary:£46,100 - 69,100 + car / allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

What is the Role?

The purpose of this job is to deliver the change management approach associated with achieving the Digital ambition of all Corporate Services functions in SSE. The role holder will be expected to support each function as required in a suitable change management approach and work at a higher level to impact the Digital culture of SSE Corporate Services, through excellent training and communications.

The job will work closely with Corporate IT and relevant product owners to deliver Digital change, will support a Digital Working Group and Digital Community in advancing Digital adoption. This role impacts approximately 2,000 people across Corporate Services and impacts all SSE businesses.

Stakeholder Relationship Management

The job holder will exploit every opportunity to deliver excellence through knowing the customer and their Digital ambition and how best to manage change in each corporate function. The outcome of this should be effective and positive engagement with all customers and stakeholders.

Programme / Change Delivery

Work with the Digital Delivery Lead to plan, organise and deliver the change effort for the programme and individual projects, focussing on those that require support. Ensure appropriate change management approach is applied to the programme and each function.

Training Needs

Introduce a fit for purpose training model, which will be determined by conducting a through training needs analysis across Corporate Services. This will determine what training is offered to different stakeholder groups and by which appropriate channel.

Critical Enablement

Support the delivery of a range of critical enablers that will support all Corporate Functions in achieving their Digital ambition. The role holder will be expected to support the change effort required to implement these enablers.

Digital Culture

A key component of the role is consideration around future ways of working and the impact of Digital adoption on the workforce, both positively and negatively and how health and wellbeing is balanced in a Digitally enabled organisation.
