Supervisor \u2013 Excavator Maintenance <\/strong><\/p>

Work Location: <\/strong>Solomon<\/p>

• • Fortescue\u2019s Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>

    Roster: <\/strong>7D7N14R \u2013 FIFO Ex Perth, Busselton or Karratha<\/p>

    Working a family friendly 2\/2 roster, this role will be accountable for Supervision, safety, planning and organisation of direct personnel & fleet, as well as provision of maintenance functions for operational Excavator Fleets and major Excavator shutdown maintenance outages.<\/p>

    Key accountabilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>

    • Demonstrate leading safety & cultural values<\/li>
    • Supervision and Leadership of personnel for safe, effective & timely maintenance of Excavator fleet <\/li>
    • Conducting field interactions and completing incident investigations in BMS<\/li>
    • Identify & implement safety initiatives<\/li>
    • Assist in identifying & developing SWI'S<\/li>
    • Ensure compliance to skills training matrix for self and direct reports<\/li>
    • Adherence to business plans & objectives<\/li>
    • Ensure the department achieves or exceeds budgeted safety, reliability & availability performance<\/li>
    • Ensure all team activities are aligned with overall business objectives<\/li><\/ul>

      Qualifications and skills required:<\/strong><\/p>

      • Heavy Mobile Equipment Trade Qualification<\/li>
      • Experience working with Caterpillar 6030, 6040 Excavators, Liebherr R9250, R9400, 996B Excavators, Cummins desirable<\/li>
      • Previous experience in a similar role, maintaining primary Excavator fleets in a field environment <\/li>
      • Previous supervisory & leadership experience, with the ability to effectively solve problems<\/li>
      • Written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills<\/li>
      • Proven commitment to safety & culture<\/li>
      • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office & SAP<\/li><\/ul>
