Senior Scheduler – Heritage
Work Location: Perth - Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.
Roster: Monday to Friday
Bring your scheduling, portfolio knowledge and your passion to problem solve, to a crucial part of the business within the Heritage portfolio team. Working in a dynamic and collaborative team environment, you will work autonomously with the support of your colleagues and Managers. In return, we ask for your innovation and enthusiasm to create, manage and establish detailed schedules, encouraging a high level of stakeholder input and producing meaningful schedules, resulting in reliable and outstanding reports.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Strong level of stakeholder engagement, collaborating with all cross functional team to maintain quality assurance for all activities
- Develop, baseline, and maintain the project schedule
- Perform schedule risk and critical path analysis
- Assist to identify and resolve all issues within schedules, and manage communication for all disruption through change management
- Monitor project progress, status of the schedule and report on progress regularly through meetings and reports, including but not limited to S-Curves, critical path and variance reports
- Identify trends or potential slippages and mitigation actions on these to your line Manager
Qualifications and skills required:
- 5+ years of project planning experience
- Proficient with MS Project/MS Project online, additionally Primavera and Microsoft Office suite (incl MS Project)
- Personable and approachable with a high level of experience in influencing and communicating with a variety of stakeholders to ensure outcomes are delivered
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational, analytical, and writing skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Must be self-disciplined, self-motivated and able to be agile within this dynamic environment and reflecting this in their scheduling abilities
