Roster: 5/2 roster
In support of Fortescue’s strong focus on green energy and our carbon neutrality targets, one of our key initiatives will be in our Green Fleet projects whereby we will develop and test a range of technologies to power our mining fleet rail and marine fleet
Based at our new Hazelmere R&D facility we are presently looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a track history of leading a team on PM systems creation and improvement
Key accountabilities will include:
- Lead and manage Document Management aligned to FMG Document management standards. Develop and implement GF Ensure provision of technical writer capability to support Green Fleet Projects
- Development and Management of Project Management Framework that will provide access to all PMs of the latest common and standardised templates required for all Green Fleet Projects
- Lead and manage the R&D documentation team to capture and optimise tax credit potential
- Stakeholder management of internal and external stakeholders which include internal FFI personal, contractors, consultants, and the broader Fortescue family. Including communication of project information to CEO, COO and ideally Board level.
- Provide effective and strategic reporting and communications of project performance on a regular basis
- Previous experience in delivering unique projects safely and on time.

- Work as part of a dynamic senior leadership team
Qualifications and skills required:
- Be degree qualified in Engineering
- Project Management qualifications
- 10+ years delivering large, complex and multi discipline rail projects
- 5+ years in a Senior Leadership/Management position
- Experience dealing with regulatory bodies
- Proven ability to coach and mentor
- High commitment to safety
- Excellent interpersonal awareness with ability to work well with a variety of teams within the organisation
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive for excellence
- Results driven, responsible and accountable
- Skilled in problem solving rapidly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
