The Physiotherapy Service THS NW is seeking experienced applicants for the role of Senior Physiotherapist – Outpatients.
This role predominantly works in outpatient settings across acute, community and outreach facilities in the North West region of Tasmania. The THS NW Physiotherapy Outpatient Service supports the North West community through receiving referrals from a wide range of Specialist Services, complementary Allied Health services, Commonwealth Funded programs and General Practice. This referral base provides a wide range of presentations and degrees of complexity producing a diverse caseload and a rich learning environment.
Our health service has close ties with the University of Tasmania, the Rural Clinical School and with TAFE Tasmania. This provides opportunities for continued professional learning, student supervision and comprehensive clinical training programs.

Reporting to the Manager Physiotherapy Services, the focus of duties of this role are:
- Promote, provide and maintain optimal Physiotherapy care for clients attending the Physiotherapy Outpatients Service.
- Assist in the coordination of the Physiotherapy Outpatients team and provide a consultancy service to other Physiotherapy staff in the area of outpatient treatment.

Details of Appointment
Permanent, full time, day work position working 76 hours per fortnight
- Applicants should note that, for a period of six months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $96,689 - $114,391 per annum + 10% superannuation
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
- Please note that access to salaries beyond $105,245 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
- Salary range is in accordance with the Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2019

Registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia

- Current Driver’s Licence
