Details of Appointment

Fixed term, full time, day work , 80 hours per fortnight commencing 6 February 2023 until 4 February 2024

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary:

Medical Practitioner Level 5 - 11 $95,697 - $135,411 per annum plus 10% superannuation and access to salary packaging and applicable allowances and loadings.

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  1. Demonstrate a commitment to training in Anatomical Pathology.
  2. Previous work experience relevant to the role.
  3. Understanding of Infection Control principles.
  4. Understanding of patient's rights and responsibilities.
  5. Knowledge and commitment to the principles of Work Health and Safety.

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

  1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
    1. crimes of violence
    2. sex related offences
    3. serious drug offences
    4. crimes involving dishonesty
  2. Identification check
  3. Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
