FFI is leading Fortescue’s decarbonisation and growth agendas. This will be achieved through developing a portfolio of projects centred on the production of renewable hydrogen, ammonia, minerals, and other value-added products. Title: Principal Project Management Systems and Improvement
Work location: Perth based (Hazelmere)
Roster: 5/2 Roster (Mon to Fri)
In support of Fortescue’s strong focus on green energy and our carbon neutrality targets, one of our key initiatives will be in our Green Fleet projects whereby we will develop and test a range of technologies to power our mining fleet
Based out our new Hazelmere R&D facility and reporting to the Manager Planning and Procurement, we are presently looking for a Principal Project Management Systems and improvement
Key accountabilities will include:
- Design, Develop, implement and maintain a Project Management Framework that will provide access to all PMs of the latest common and standardised templates required for all Green Fleet Projects
- Provide Project Management systems continuous improvement support to Green Fleet
- Deliver on people, systems and technical improvement projects as defined and assigned by the Head of function
Qualifications and skills required:
- Engineering qualification would be desirable
- Extensive project management experience delivering complex multi discipline projects
- 5 years’ experience leading teams in a similar environment
- Previous experience in a start-up environment implementing new process and framework would be highly advantageous
- Previous experience with process review and improvement
- Previous experience in the resource sector
- Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal awareness with ability to work well in a team
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive for excellence
- Results driven, responsible and accountable
- Skilled in rapid problem solving
