This will be achieved through developing a portfolio of projects centred on the production of renewable hydrogen, ammonia, minerals, and other value-added products. Title: Integration Engineer
Work location: Perth based (Hazelmere)
Roster: 5/2 Roster (Mon to Fri)
In support of Fortescue’s strong focus on green energy and our carbon neutrality targets, one of our key initiatives will be in our Green Fleet projects whereby we will develop and test a range of technologies to power our mining fleet
Based out our new Hazelmere R&D facility and reporting to the Principal Integration Engineer Green Fleet Development, we are presently looking for an Integration Engineer
Key accountabilities will include:
- Determination of customer attribute requirements, functional and non-functional descriptions based on customer interactions.
- Development of high-level concept requirements and feasibility to achieve desired attributes, this includes a high degree of engagement with other engineering functions to drive concept development.
- Facilitating work with regulatory bodies on new technology qualification requirements
Qualifications and skills required:
- 5+ years of professional experience in mobile asset Engineering
- Demonstrable skillset in development of basis of design (BoD) documentation to drive engineering process for successful outcomes
- Experience with DNV and/or other regulatory bodies for qualify new technologies
- Knowledge of standards around hydrogen, battery, and gas delivery systems
- Experience with the testing, verification, and validation of high-level system functionality
- Desire to drive development of systems based off validated simulations
