Position Title : Supervisor Maintenance - OPF
Work Location: Cloudbreak OPF

Summary of role
The Mechanical Maintenance Execution Supervisors role is to direct and coordinate all Weekly, Contactor and Operational teams to safely execute the strategies of planned and unplanned maintenance within the allocated timelines and budgetary constraints. Effective communications and strong leadership styles in safety aiming for Zero harm and Frontline Management are essential for this role. This role is critical to the success of the OPF, Reliability and reports directly to the Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent .

- Pro-actively leads and presents safety meetings, safety improvements and notices.
- Ensure the safe execution of maintenance work as per the assigned schedule, and managing the breakdown and breakin works in adherence to Work Management Process.
- The ability to coach and mentor team members to manage their own and others safety, adhere to the weekly plan, complete works with quality, have constructive relationships with other teams – (Operations, Shutdown, Planning, Reliability), and have constructive relationships within their own teams.
- Plan and conducts positive field leaderships to build safe behavior within teams. Rectify and report all at risk behaviors to ensure learnings are captured within BMS.
- The timely completion of all assigned BMS obligations to ensure compliance to safety.
- Pro-actively identify performance issues, then manage issues with the assistance of the Dry Plant Coordinator.
- Adhere to the Escalation and Reporting process for all relevant events, Safety, Production, Cost.
- Provide technical support for team, sharing knowledge of plant and trade to all team members.
- Provide technical feedback and support offering training and upskilling for team.
- Manage team leave in adherence to work management weekly lock in, manage team training keeping the manning calendar accurate to head count.
- Review and process notifications raised in responsible work areas in adherence to work management processes.
- Forward all change management requests from notification requests to the area engineer for review and formal change request.
- Review and provide feedback to the weekly scheduler regarding weekly plan.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Strong safety focus aiming for Zero Harm deliverable
- Demonstrable background in Maintenance
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in mining or similar heavy industry
- Maintenance execution / planning using all aspects of a computerized maintenance management system, including strategy/sequencing development
- Fitting, or Fitting and Turning qualification with a minimum of 7years experience
- Project Management (Desirable)
- Front Line Management (Desirable)
- Experienced in working with external organizations – contracting companies to achieve results beneficial to the company
- Knowledge of Mines Safety and Inspections Act and Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations (MSIA and MSIR)
- Experience in SAP (Plant Maintenance preferred)
- Strong man management capabilities to direct and lead teams to weekly execution deliverables
